Caroline tied the knot a few months back, during my blogging hiatus, hence no amazing blog post. For those of you who don't know, Caroline is my sister's best friend. They are each other's ho/hoe/bff7. The two of us are also pretty close. We used to dance together. Then she worked seasonally at Disney forever. So ya know, we're basically bffs by association. Her wedding was a whole lot of fun! There were a few ballet friends but also a few friends from the girls' Agnes Scott days. And the wedding was up in Ohio. So yeah. A good time was had by all!
This past weekend Disney was gracious enough to grant me a couple of vacation days so I could return home to attend another ballet friend's wedding. That means you, Brittany! Brittany was around for all the shenanigans at The Studio way back in the day. She also worked at Disney as a character performer for a hot minute before touring the world with Disney Live! So you better believe the crowd at this wedding was a fun one.
The service was beautiful, very traditional in a gorgeously ornate chapel. Then the reception was an absolute blast! Table 3 was clearly the coolest of the bunch. The Moores, Weisses, and Skibiels at the same table? Shenanigans! I also had fun chatting with a fellow Disney performer. Small world! Right, Melissa? Once the dance floor opened up all bets were off. Seriously, y'all. We tore up that floor like nobody's business. Other wedding guests, you are very welcome.
Okay so that was only two weddings in one year, but we had enough fun to fill up at least four weddings. The next one isn't until next June so there's some breathing time until then. But just you wait. That wedding belongs to a certain lass with a boy/girl name. That's right, Hannah Michael! I can't wait until next June so we can celebrate you and Chris but mostly make silly faces like these...
